Yoyo for Life (Original Watercolor)

Contemplating Apple is part of a series of paintings I made exploring the physical and intimate connection between pets and humans.

In the same vine as Wheat in Hands, in my attempt to portray the connection and physical bond between owner and pet, with this one, even though only the arm of the human is shown, I tried to make it very tactile and textured. I also tried to show the owner’s feelings and thoughts impressed on the cat’s expression.. Showing just how important and special that relationship can be.
