Frequently Asked Questions

Most frequent questions and answers

What is the Aquabord?

Aquabord is a new surface for watercolors, similar to paper except this is already in a nice wooden frame, after painting on the Aquabord, the whole painting is varnished in a non-gloss finish. So there is no need to cover it with glass. Because of that, the watercolors show through more vividly, with no glares, or changes in color, exactly the way the artist intended them!

How long will it take to get my watercolor paint?

Right now due to high demand our waiting list varies from month to month. For latest times please check out the bottom of the page at the order forrm here. Once you’re turn is up, it takes anywhere from 5 days to 2 weeks, depending on size. For those on a rush, please contact us, and we will see what we can do

Why do I have to submit three photos?

Due to the nature of watercolors, not all photos make the best paintings, therefore I ask that you send me a few options. I will take a look at the photos and communicate with you about which one would look the best. If none of them would work well, then I might request you send me other options. Usually the best kind of photos that lend well to Watercolors are bright colors, clear focus, and well lit photos.

When will my payment be due?

Full payment is due upfront. There are no refunds once your process has been accepted.

Do you accept returns?

In the case you are not satisfied with your painting, we can buy it back from you at 80% the cost, as long as the painting isn’t damaged.

Do the paintings come framed?

We do have a few options for framing your painting at an extra cost. Take a look at the price chart for updated prices. If you do no wish to frame it through me, I will still recommend certain colors and styles of frames depending on the painting colors and textures. Also note, all Aquabord paints are ready to hang and need no extra frame.
